Comanche’ is an aquatic perennial with leaves to 30cm wide, bronze-green, lightly-spotted with purple when young. The scented flowers are cup-shaped, later star-shaped, to 15cm across, opening apricot-yellow and maturing to soft copper red, with prominent yellow stamens
