Rotala indica – submerged – Aquarium Plants

£3.49£19.94

Rotala indica is an excellent aquarium plant that prefers good water quality with pH of 6.0-7.5, hardness of 3-8 dGH and temperature between 72 and 82° F. Enjoys high light and nutrients with CO2 and then grows quickly. Lighting should be 3 to 5 watts per gallon, planted directly in the substrate of sand or small gravel. Regular pruning required to keep its shape. Lean nitrate levels (~5 mg/l), high phosphate levels (~1.5-2 mg/l), and heavy, regular dosing of iron and trace elements will produce intense coloration and growth.
